Alchemist is a learning and development business that delivers learning experiences to a blue-chip corporate and public sector client base. It offers clients blended multi-modal learning, underpinned by a proprietary technology platform, creating learning programmes tailored to an organisation’s specific needs.
Rockpool provided equity and mezzanine funding to support a 2018 management buy-in of Interact, a training company specialising in experiential learning. This was followed by further investment in 2019 to fund the acquisition of Apex Training and Development, a fast-growing sales and negotiation training business. Alchemist was created in 2022 to consolidate the success of Interact and Apex.
After a sustained period of rapid growth in Alchemist, Rockpool exited its investment in 2024 to Horizon Capital, a mid-market private equity fund.
