What was the investment thesis?

Rockpool invested in 2022 to support an ambitious buy and build journey in the financial planning and advice sector, with a focus on building both scale and a national footprint of Partner Firms.

What was Rockpool’s value add?

Since Rockpool’s investment in 2022, the team have supported the Company’s eight acquisitions, substantially expanding the Group’s geographic footprint and growing assets under advice to over £1.7 billion. The aim is to continue expansion during Rockpool’s remaining investment hold period, through the development of internal, organic growth levers and through further acquisition.

The Group rebranded to Purposeful Group in 2025, underlining their commitment to being a responsible business that considers clients, stakeholders and the brands that the Partner Firms have created.
