Rockpool provides MBO and acquisition planning & wealth management group, Finitor Wealth
Rockpool Investments has invested in Finitor Wealth, a financial planning and wealth management group with over 3,000 clients and £750 million of assets under advice (AUA).
Finitor was founded in 2018 and, through its regional partner firms, provides independent financial planning advice and other associated services to customers in the UK market. Finitor provides financial planning services to individuals, families, and businesses, who need objective assistance in organising their financial affairs to achieve financial and lifestyle objectives.
Rockpool’s investment has enabled the management buy-out and the simultaneous acquisitions of two further financial planning businesses – Leamington Spa based Ascent Financial Consulting and Cumbria based FMB – with additional target firms in the pipeline. These acquisitions bring AUA to over £1.1 billion, with the aim to continue expansion during Rockpool’s investment hold. ThinCats provided senior loan facilities to support the initial and future acquisitions.
The Company is led by the Finitor founders, Paul Stokes (CEO) and Richard Rhodes (CFO), who are supported by an experienced senior management team and Chairman Kevin Ronaldson.
